Methodology and limits
The BC Blue Book reports gross payments made by the Medical Services Commission for insured medical services. Open Compensation normalizes physician names, specialties, years, and gross payment amounts for search and comparison.
Fields indexed: doctor, specialty, year, gross MSP payment
Amounts are gross payments, not physician take-home income. Practice overhead, staff, rent, equipment, and non-MSP income are not reflected.
