The audience
Open Compensation is Canada's searchable database of public-sector pay and physician payments. The people using it are physicians and residents benchmarking their specialty, healthcare workers comparing employers, public servants checking their percentile, and journalists researching stories. They arrive with a financial question already in mind.

The sponsorship
We offer a single sponsor slot: a clearly labeled card on our physician-payment pages, the most-visited section of the site. One sponsor at a time, so your placement is never diluted.
- $150 CAD per month, month to month, no long-term commitment.
- Placement on the BC Blue Book, specialty, and related physician pages.
- Labeled "Sponsored" wherever it appears.
- A monthly summary of impressions from our analytics.
Sponsors this tends to fit:
- Financial planning and wealth management for physicians
- Disability and life insurance for medical professionals
- Medical billing, accounting, and incorporation services
- Physician recruitment and locum agencies
- CME and professional development
Sponsorship policy
Open Compensation is a civic transparency resource, and the sponsorship exists to keep it free. The rules that protect that:
- Sponsors get no access to our data pipeline, our visitors' information, or anything beyond the public pages.
- Sponsors have no influence over what we publish. Sponsorship is not endorsement.
- We decline: products targeting individuals listed in the database, payday lending, crypto, gambling, and anything we consider misleading.
